Ceremony held to honour, support 40 courageous ladies

As a part of the Jazba Foundation Women Entrepreneurship Programme, a ceremony was held at a local club to honour and support 40 more courageous ladies of talent and ability. Among these 40 ladies, 11 want to set up computer academies, 12 have sought training as beauticians and will set up beauty parlors, four opted for embroidery work and 13 for tailoring business.
In the presence of generous donors like Seth Abid, Mussarat Misbah, Abid Farooq, Faisal Ijaz, Lieutenant General M Tariq (Retd), Abid Farooq and Lieutenant General Khalid Maqbool (Retd), all the required essential furniture and equipment was handed over to the forty beneficiaries with hope and prayers for their success.
On this occasion Rashida Khalid a previous beneficiary shared with the house that her life was full of tragedies with darkness all around and a home devoid of any source of income. As a divorcee she was on the verge of total disaster when Jazba Foundation came up with support and she started a teaching academy.
Hard work and dedication brought optimism and an urge to perform and now she is running a complete school with a sense of dignity and pride. Another beneficiary, Irshad Bibi, now a successful beautician made many eyes wet when she shared her life of distress and utter devastation before she got this chance.
Speaking on the occasion Mussarat Misbah stated that her doors were open to these courageous ladies and she would train them further and enhance their skills so that success becomes a part of their lives. Seth Abid said he would not lag behind and counselled the beneficiaries to train more and more ladies in the skills they have.
He said he would be always ready to lend assistance and support and announced a large donation for this purpose. Lieutenant General Khalid Maqbool (Retd) committed his devotion to this programme without any reservations and stated that Jazba Foundation with the help of donors had distributed rations worth thirty seven million to the flood affected people.
He also stated that with various programmes of Jazba Foundation going in progression, like, "Sponsorships/Educational programmes for children", "collecting matrimonial funds", "collective matrimonial ceremonies of poor girls" and noteworthy, "Women Entrepreneurship Programme", the team feels that is a lot of work has to be done to mitigate sufferings.
