A rally was organised on Saturday in connection with the 'Hamara' Karachi Festival. The rallies from all the 18 towns in the metropolis had converged at the Mazar of Quaid-i-Azam. The former Naib City Nazim, and president of Hamara Karachi Foundation, Nasreen Jalil, addressed the gathering.
She said on the occasion that Karachi is the city of all of us and concerted efforts would have to be made for its progress and development. Nasreen said that we all would work towards making Karachi a citadel of peace. She stated that Karachi is also the commercial and economic hub of the country. The 'Hamara' Karachi celebrations are being marked from March 5 to 13.
