National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP), North Zone will launch polio immunisation campaign from March 7-10 with the help of the health department.
Deputy Inspector General N-5, Abbas Hussain Malick has said that NH&MP will adopt all possible measures and use all available resources to help and assist the polio teams and make their campaign a success. It will launch polio immunisation campaign in Jehlam with the help of the local health department to save the children from the epidemic disease. He said that keeping in view the importance of the campaign, police will be deployed on special duty at Tarraki and Jhelam Toll Plazas. It will also be deployed at Sohawa, and Dina and Jehlam bus stops to assist the polio team.
Malick said that the paramedical staff of NH&MP will help polio teams in the campaign. He announced said that NH&MP will launch more such campaigns in the future to save the children from the epidemic disease.
