Copper ended up for a third straight session on Monday, extending a bounce from last week's near one-month low, as healthier economic prospects boosted sentiment and outweighed the shorter-term headwinds in the Middle East. COMEX copper for May delivery settled up 4.15 cents at $4.4965 per lb, near the upper end of its $4.4255 to $4.5065 session range. The gain placed the benchmark contract within 3.5 percent of its all-time high at $4.6575.
