Journalist community has expressed deep concern over the delay of establishment of journalist colony in Sialkot. They said that the project of setting up of proposed colony is in doldrums since long due to unknown reason.
Punjab government was spending huge funds on various projects pertaining to people's welfare, but it is very unfortunate that journalist community of Sialkot was being treated as step motherly treatment whereas journalist colonies were being developed in different cities of the country, but Sialkot based journalists were being deprived from their due right, they said. They appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to take immediate steps for resolving this longstanding issue to facilitate the journalist community of the Sialkot.
