No more support to PPP government: Nawaz

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Quaid Mohammad Nawaz Sharif has said that the PML-N would not support the incompetent PPP-led government any further, as the party workers have rejected government's behaviour vis-à-vis implementation of the PML-N's 10-point agenda.
He said this while addressing his party workers hailing from Gujranwala and Rawalpindi/Islamabad in a consultative meeting here on Monday, PML-N sources said while quoting PML-N top leader as having said. Nawaz Sharif told the PML-N that there is no room in the party for those who joined hands with a dictator for the sake of power. "The country as well as people had suffered a lot whenever army intervened in country's political system," he said, adding: "Had there was Pervez Musharraf's rule in the country Raymond Davis had since been released."
The PML-N leader also ruled out any possibility of making an alliance with Chaudhry brothers for the formation of government. He said the PML-N was sincerely striving for bringing in real and result-oriented change in the country. Nawaz said the people of Pakistan had defeated President Asif Ali Zardari in the movement for the restoration of judiciary. "The PML-N would bring similar revolution in every institution, as stable institutions would guarantee a stable Pakistan," he said. "In the Monday's PML-N's consultative meeting held with the party workers from Gujranwala and Rawalpindi/Islamabad with Nawaz Sharif in the chair, there was unanimous view that the PML-N-PPP alliance in Punjab should not last anymore," the PML-N senior leader Khawaja Saad Rafique told reporters.
When asked about statement of Dr Zulifqar Mirza, Khawaja said that there would be no reaction of PPP leader's irresponsible statement because neither the Punjab is "no go area" nor "We consider Sindh and Karachi as "no go area." However, he said the PPP leadership must take notice of the statement of Dr Zulifqar Mirza.
According to him, the PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif has ruled out any possibility of joining hands with Chaudhry brothers just for the sake of power. When asked why the Unification Block members have been invited in the PML-N's meeting scheduled for February 25 to announce future strategy, Saad abstained to reply the query. However, he rejected the impression of linking the Unification Block with the PML-N.
