Special World Cup transmission to run non-stop for eight hours daily

Cricket fever has gone berserk nation-wide. Besides the stadium where all the action is, Play TV, the leading music channel of Pakistan has teamed up with Zong and created a parallel universe. Special World Cup transmission will run non-stop for 8 hours daily for 42 days, covering the events, results and the entertainment side of the World Cup.
The cricket lounge of Play TV will feature various segments with celebrity hosts namely, Ali Salman, Ayesha Khan, Fakhr-e-Alam, Bushra Ansari, Annie, Dino, Saud, Jewel, Javeria Saud, Samra, Palwasha, Ayesha Omer, Durdana Butt and the Four Man team. Besides this, the transmission will also feature Shaikh Rashid, Arif Lohar, Faisal Sabzwari, Mustafa Kamal, Strings, Marvi Memon and Sharmila Farooqi as guests.
Various segments, namely the 13th & The 14th Man, the 4th Umpire, Mrs Butt etc will be aired throughout the transmission whereas some segments will be based on lookalikes of cricketers and other celebrities including the Chacha Cricket!
During the programmes, Play TV would engage the audience and the viewers by throwing questions of the matches to them from time to time, hence giving them a chance to play and win prizes worth Rs 2 crore, along with the ongoing action at the stadium.
