Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Sindh held a reception in honour of a bunch of players and officials of the Diya Women Football Club here at a local hotel, recently.
During the gathering, which was graced by Ms. Rafia Halim, Additional Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Department Government of Sindh, cash prizes were awarded by her to Ms Sadia Shaikh, who has recently attended an administrative coaching course in Maldives and other permanent members of the national team who have been serving Diya Women Football Club for the last five years for distinction in their respective fields.
Ms. Rafia Halim, Additional Secretary, stated that the Provincial Sports Minster Dr Syed Muhammad Ali Shah and Secretary Sports Sohaib Ahmed Siddiqui both are sports loving persons and they are always willing to promote sports in general and women sports and players in particular throughout the province.-PR
