Police on Monday claimed to have recovered a seven years old boy and arrested his kidnapper in the limits of Tehmoriya police station on Monday. According to police, Muhammad Hussain, 7, son of Abdul Karim was abducted by his renter Iftikhar from Bufferzone Sector 15-B some two days ago.
They said that Iftikhar, who was arrested because of his dubious behaviour, admitted during investigation that he kidnapped Hussain some two days back for ransom. They further said the accused had demanded to Abdul Karim for Rs 20 million for Hussain's release and added that Iftikhar was a renter of Abdul Karim, who was a businessman and a resident of Bufferzone sector 15-B. They said the police had registered a case 105/11 against Iftikhar and his two accomplices, who absconded after committing this heinous crime.
