On the directions of Inspector General, National Highways and Motorway Police, Dr Waseem Kausar N-5 Central conducted an extraordinary special patrolling to conduct enforcement against illegal usage of LED lights, incorrect use of indicators and vehicles lacking taillights.
Deputy Inspector General N-5 Central, Syed Ibne Hussain personally monitored the patrolling and forwarded different instructions to the officers. He stopped at different places to check public dealing of officers. He also inspected speed checking cameras to ensure that they are calibrated and being used at appropriate spots.
All sector commanders of the zone, beat commanders and admin officers remained on the road to make the special patrolling effective and result oriented. During the patrolling, additional vehicles were used to maintain traffic discipline, brief and guide road users regarding safety, defensive driving, use of motorway police help-line 130 and extending maximum help to other road users during rush hours.
