Overcoming problems: 'Muslim Ummah must practice Islam in its totality'

Muslim Ummah has to embrace Islam in its totality by following the footprints of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) to overcome various problems being faced by them. These were the views of speakers at a Seerat conference arranged in connection with the celebration of birthday of Holy Prophet (PBUH), held here on Sunday at Shah Faisal Jamia Islamia.
The chief guest on the occasion was new Muslim Ms. Amna Salman, head of International Islamic Centre Sydney Australia, whereas President of Anjaman-e-Taleemul Islam and Mohtamim of Shah Faisal Madrasa Khalid Rashid Shahbaz presided over the conference. Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Amna Salman paid rich tribute to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) whose guidance to humanity played a pivotal role to bring harmony amongst various ranks of Muslim community world over. She said that after getting inspiration from the valuable teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), she joined the family of Muslims.
She said that Islam is a practical religion, therefore it is Ummah responsibility to obey it in its true spirit according to the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
In his address, Khalid Rashid Shahbaz said that salvation of our problems lies in following strictly teachings we received through the Holy Prophet (PBUH), which will help lessen our stress and misfortunes confronting us.
He termed it responsibility of Muslims of the world, particularly of Pakistan to create an Islamic society, which is the only remedy of all problems whether these are political, economical and social. "Youth has to come forward to embrace the religion by practising of it in totality", he said. On the occasion, students paid glorious tributes to Prophet (PBUH) by reciting the Holy Qur'an and presenting Naat.
