Pakistan U-21 football team has completed five days of their camp at National Training Field of Nong Jok Thailand. The camp saw Pakistan put up gallant fight against Thailand U-21 despite 1-2 defeat at Rajamangala National Stadium.
It was Sydney's 2008 FIFA's 58th Congress, during which Pakistan Football Federation (PFF)'s President Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat, also AFC Executive Committee member, met with The Football Association of Thailand (FAT) President Makudi Worawi who was unanimously elected as the new president of FAT on 25 March 2007.
Worawi assured full support to PFF Chief and this is second time in his tenure that Pakistan installed camp at the South Asian nation. Once again National U-21 teams of Pakistan is in Bangkok for training for the coming Olympics. "Both the teams will launch their mission on 23 February 2011 with first legs Pakistan is pitted against Malaysia, while Thailand will collide with Palestine. The Thailand-based camp will run until 20 February, 2011 at the same venue and Pakistan Olympic team will headed off for Malaysia on 21 February," said Faisal. In their part of preparation, Pakistan will take on Samutprakan Club on Saturday (today). Samut Prakan Football Club is based in Samut Prakan Province, a city located 1 hour away from Bangkok at the Eastern Seaboard.
