Addressing a rally of Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) at Quetta’s Ayub Stadium, deposed Prime Minister said the party chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai and his party have the same point of view and are tied together in an ideological bond.

The rally was held on the 44th death anniversary of Abdul Samad Khan Achakzai. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders Pervaiz Rashid and Senator Dr Asif Karmani accompanied Sharif to Quetta.

Parliament refused to adopt black laws, acts of dictators: Nawaz Sharif

Sharif was received by Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri and PkMAP chief Achakzai, along with several PML-N workers, at the airport. The deposed PM claimed that he had asked for the bulletproof screen to be removed as it was an obstruction, adding that that his security is in the hands of Allah.

Sharif said that he will support PkMAP chief Mahmood Khan at every step. Sharif said there had been no signs of progress in Balochistan four years ago, but with his party’s vision, network of roads and motorways have been constructed. "You will be able to reach Islamabad from Quetta in eight hours," said. Sharif announced that he will start a metro bus service in Quetta.

Sharif further said he was disqualified just because he had not taken salary from his son while working in his firm. He added that those judges who had taken oath under Provisional Constitutional Order (PCO) had declared him as not ‘Sadiq’ and ‘Ameen’.

Sharif lashed out at  Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan and said, "That cricketer Khan, who used to ridicule Punjab's Metro bus and called it ' Jhangla bus', is now planning to make the same bus in Peshawar but it has been almost 5 years and he has not made it yet.'' He added that Khan has not failed in making Peshawar, while he and his brother have made Punjab, Islamabad, Multan and Rawalpindi.
