Punjab Football Association (PFA)'s Secretary Agha Muhammad Latif has declared District Football Association (DFA) Lahore League illegal being contrary to PFA Calendar. As per yearly activity calendar issued by PFA, the DFA League is to be held from 15th March, 2011. But DFA officials announced the DFA League w.e.f. 25th December, 2010 against the calendar of PFA, he said.
Further, he said the DFA Lahore Secretary has included several unregistered football Clubs in its letter dated 28.11.2010 to participate in the League. Many complaints received from various Clubs of DFA Lahore against the inclusion of unregistered club in the League and requested to stop this illegal DFA League in contravention of PFF activity calendar for the Year 2011.
