HYDERABAD: The SSP Hyderabad Peer Muhammad Shah has said stringent security measures would be put in place to provide security to the Rabi-ul-Awal processions. Chairing a meeting at his office here Sunday, attended by the organizers of Rabiul Awal processions, the SSP assured of complete coordination with organizers and sought their reciprocal support as well.
He informed the organizers that among them who already had been issued the permits up to last year would not have to apply for renewal of the permits for the processions.
He added that only those organizers would have to apply to the police for the new permits who had never before organized a procession.Sufi Raza Muhammad Abbassi, Jawad Ahmed Barkati, Haji Iqbal Memon, Ishtiaquddin Aijaz, Sahibzada Haji Ahsan, Abdul Kareem Ghangra, Abdul Ghani Shah, Tasleem Rajput and other representatives attended the meeting. During the meeting the organizers expressed concern over lack of cleanliness on the road, heaps of garbage and sewage poodles.
