It’s Katrina Kaif vs Deepika Padukone!

Bollywood celebrities are busy hosting and throwing parties this festive season and its very own divas, Katrina and Deepika chose to wear similar colored attires at some of these events but the fashion face-off game is on between their red bridal dresses.

At a recent Diwali party held by Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan, Katrina Kaif chose a red scarlet lehenga by Anamika Khanna that gave some serious bridal vibes. The actress looked beautiful and elegant with the perfect blend of hair and makeup complimenting the whole look. Katrina accessorized the look with some golden jewels that uplifted the entire attire.

On the other hand another Bollywood celebrity and an old nemesis of Katrina’s Deepika Padukone wore a similar colored sari at the Hema Malini biography book launch. The actress surely looked like a modern day dream girl; Deepika carried the bold and bright red sari with grace and looked elegantly feminine.

However, in this battle for the best dressed, Karina has surely won over Deepika by a large margin as the ‘Dhoom 3’ didn’t play it safe and went bold with the color in the traditional look and wore something at least a little extravagant considering the festive season.

Deepika Padukone’s ‘Padmavati’ is in trouble again

Deepika will soon be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus called ‘Padmavati’ and Katrina is currently filming for ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, the sequel to ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, opposite Salman Khan. Both actresses are apparently working on an Aanand L Rai film, starring Shah Rukh Khan together.
