Nurses strike continues

FAISALABAD: Strike of nursing staff of three government hospitals of Faisalabad continued on the third consecutive day on Friday.

Hundreds of nurses of Allied Hospital,the District Headquarters Hospital and General Hospital Ghulam Muhammad boycotted their duties in all wards of hospitals, including emergency wards.

They also staged a protest demonstration for raise in their salaries. The protesters holding banners and placards chanted slogans against the Punjab health department and the Punjab government.
