Famous historian and archaeologist Professor Ahmad Hasan Dani passed away on Monday. He was 89. According to PTV news, Professor Dani was under treatment in Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) for several days. The Government of Pakistan had awarded him Hilal-e-Imtiaz and Pride of Performance in acknowledgement of his services.
