LAHORE: A 50-member delegation of the PAF War College officers called on Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khan Khosa at the Governor House here on Thursday.
The delegation was headed by Air Vice Marshal Azher Hasan and comprised participants of the 1-year War Course from Pakistan as well as allied countries like Saudi Arabia, China, Bangladesh, Jordan, Nigeria, Sri Lanka and Malaysia.
During the meeting, the delegation discussed matters pertaining to social, cultural, political and economic milieu of the province as well as the law and order situation in Punjab.
Talking to the delegation, he said ideal law and order situation did not exist in the world, adding that all countries were faced with the challenge of law and order in one way or the other.
Stressing the need for education, Punjab Governor said education was vital for the country to revisit the past grandeur and compete with the developed countries.
Lauding the role of Pakistan armed forces in the war against terror, Khosa said the army had rendered unparalleled sacrifices in the war against terror.
To a query regarding Pak-India trade, he said Pakistan wanted trade with India on equal footing, adding that Pakistan sought concessions in the trade which would benefit our industry.
