KARACHI: Gold moved up by Rs86 to close at Rs48,086 per 10 grams in the local market Thursday, as its international price stood at $1,735 an ounce, market sources said.

According to the Karachi Saraf Association officials, tola (11.664 grams) price also improved by Rs100 to Rs56,100.

However, silver closed unchanged at Rs925.71 per 10 grams.
