Punjab Governor Lieutenant General Khalid Maqbool (Retd) chairing a meeting in the Governor House here on Sunday has formed a committee to bring in improvement and structural changes at par with international standards in Alhamara Arts Council, Alhamara Cultural Complex and in cultural establishments under the supervision of Alhamra Arts Council.
The governor on the occasion gave instructions that executive director Alhamara Arts Council, chief architect Punjab, electrical engineers related to University of Engineering & Technology to be included in the committee. He asked the experts to take into confidence and seek advice from people relevant to cultural activity on the occasion. In the meeting establishment of 'Under Graduate Performing Arts Institute' was also discussed.
