Minister for State and Frontier Regions, Sardar Yar Mohammad Rind has strongly condemned the terrorist action in Lal Masjid in which an SSG's officer lost his life.
The government should take strong action against such elements who were trying to create a state within state, he said in a statement issued here on Sunday.
He further stated that a few number of people with vested interests were not only distorting image of the country internationally, but also endangering the lives of innocent people. The Minister said that parents of students had sent their children to Jamia Hafsa for education.
They would never have imagined that their children would be held hostage by the same clerics who were supposed to be their mentors and teachers, he added.
He said that writ of the state must be established at every cost. No body can get away with causing damage to the lives and property of the people of Pakistan. He said the terrorists in Jamia have not only terrorised the population of the Federal Capital but have also caused immense damage to state property.
He further said these terrorists have no care for human lives and many innocent lives have been lost in this conflict. It is imperative to bring to it just conclusion.
