Fish seed available at Hatcheries

Fisheries Department Punjab has started supply of fish seed to farmers throughout the province of Punjab and this could continue till October 31.
According to official sources, this supply process including fish seed of indigenous and exotic fish species like Rohu, Mori, Thaila, Silver carp, Grass Carp and Big Head is available at the hatcheries and nursery units of the department and farmers can contact district offices of the department to get fish seed at concessional rates.
In order to promote fisheries related activities in province, technical assistance and advisory service is also being provided to farmers free of cost the source further said.
