The Convenor of the International Relations Committee of the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors, Amir Mahmood has compiled a report on the visit to Nepal of the CPNE delegation led by Syed Fasieh Iqbal, President of the CPNE.
The visit was from June 14 to 18, 2007. The report also includes as appendix the three-page Memorandum of understanding signed between the Council of Pakistan Newspapers Editors and the National Network and fortnightly Newspapers of Nepal which was signed on behalf of the CPNE by Syed Fasieh Iqbal and on the Nepali side by Devaprakash Tripathi.
The report gives details of the different official meeting the CPNE delegation had with three different Ministers of the Nepali Government including the Information Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Minister for Tourism Gurung and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mrs Sahana Pradhan. The report also covers the meeting the CPNE delegation has with Nepalese Prime Minister G. P. Koirala.
