British Parliamentary Secretary calls on President

asif_400ISTANBUL: British Parliamentary Under-Secretary Alistair Burt, who is in Istanbul to attend regional conference on Afghanistan, called on President Asif Ali Zardari here on Wednesday.

During the meeting, President Asif Ali Zardari and the British Parliamentary Secretary expressed their resolve to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries in diverse fields.

They also discussed trilateral summit held here and participated by Pakistan, Turkey and Afghanistan.
