The budget of Taluka city Hyderabad of Rs 446,545,000 has been announced by Taluka city Nazim Jawaid Jabbar for fiscal year 2007-08.Budget conference was held under the chairmanship of convenor Ghulam Shabbar Chussti at Jinnah Hall Hyderabad. Taluka City Nazim Hyderabad said that no any new tax has been imposed rather tax receiving system has been improved.
Rs 78,475,000 are estimated for development works. Rs 273,701,243 are estimated as income and Rs 272,701,243 are estimated for expenditure. Rs 10 millions for the development of roads and streets, Rs 10 millions for the development of sewerage lines have been allocated. Rs 3 million allocated for making up the parks, Rs 0.5 million for making up the Eidgah.
Rs 6.0 million for buying of new lights. Taluka city Nazim said that facilities have been given to employees in which for the first time Rs 2.0 million have been set for death while doing on duty, Rs 0.6 million for the scholarship of employee's children.
Rs 286,129,000 are estimated for the salaries and other allowances of employees. Rs 0.5 million for press, scholars, religious, social, and cultural events, Rs 0.5 million for welfare and Rs 0.5 million are estimated for the promotion of sports. In this budget 70 percent expenditure on administration and 18 percent expenditure on developmental works is estimated.
