Expressing grief over the devastation and loss of precious lives due to recent rains and flood in Balochistan and Sindh, Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore, has announced to provide relief to their Baloch and Sindhi brethren in this hour of need. This was stated by JI Lahore Amir, Hafiz Salman Butt and JI MPA Ehsanullah Waqas while talking to newsmen, here on Tuesday.
They said that his party sympathised with the people of Balochistan over the devastation caused by the recent rains and floods. They said that JI would continue to extend all out assistance to their Baloch brethren. They said that JI has established a relief camp at its Lytton road office.
About Lal Masjid operation, they said that the government should resolve the issue in an amicable manner instead of launching an operation, which claimed lives of innocent people.
