Foolproof relief and administrative measures have been ensured under a co-ordinated strategy by all the concerned departments in Faisalabad district to meet any emergency-like situation. In this connection, Colonel Shakeel and Colonel Bilal held co-ordination meeting with officers of the concerned departments at Circuit House, here on Tuesday and reviewed the arrangements.
Matters relating to the evacuation of victims in case of flood, provision of relief and other matters were discussed in the meeting. The meeting was informed that the Civil administration, police, health, TMAs, Civil Defence, Red Crescent and other departments and agencies had made arrangements.
Colonel Shakeel and Colonel Bilal visited Flood Relief Centers set up at Municipal Degree College and Chak Jhumra along with DDO (Revenue) City, Syed Muhashar Shah and DDO (Revenue) Chak Jhumra Ali Bajwa and reviewed the arrangements. They urged concerned departments to remain alert for meeting any emergency and control rooms be made effective for ensuring co-ordinated relief measures.
