The Karachi Port handled 80,879 tonnes cargo including 55,920 tonnes import, 24,952 tonnes export cargo and 3,901 containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Friday.
The cargo comprised of 80,879 tonnes dry cargo including 46,666 tonnes general cargo; 16,449 tonnes fertiliser; 11,400 tonnes coal; 6,364 tonnes cement and no oil/liquid cargo.
Six ships namely YM Sun, Sinar Bandung, YM Faha, Prem Pride, Rose and Valentine-1 sailed out to sea during the report period. Five vessels viz Adriatic Arrow, Bl Saida, Hyundai Future, Gulf Bridge and Iran Hesabi are currently at the berths.
Eight ships namely Jiao Cheng, Makran, Hyundai Future, Gulf Bridge, Split, Sinai, Ltc Calvin P. Titus and Igwt expected to sail on Friday, while three vessels viz Adriatic Arrow, Iran Hesabi and Oel Esteem expected to sail on Saturday.
Five vessels viz Sea Glory, Gemini, C.Felix, Golden Lion and Ocean Dominence due to arrive on Friday, while seven ships namely M. T. Johar, Global Union, Jade Trader, Oel Shreyas, Ninos, Faderal St. Laurent and Iron Butterfly are due to arrive on Saturday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 42,290 tonnes comprising 30,679 tonnes import and 11,611 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 1,299 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Friday.
The cargo comprised of 2,070 tonnes diesel oil; 7,237 tonnes edible oil; 10,900 tonnes coke and 22,083 tonnes containerised cargo. Three ships namely C.V. MSC Aurora, C.V. Al-Ihsaa and M.T. Al-Maqwa sailed out to sea during last 24 hours.
A total of five ships namely CSAV Ningbo, Emirates Adam, Delta Ranger, Hamburg Harmony and Grigoroussa-1 carrying containers, coal, iron ore and furnace oil are currently at the outer anchorage.
Five vessels viz C.V. Al-Ihsaa, C.V. MSC Aurora, M.T. Negotiator, M.T. Al-Maqwa and M.V. Guang Meng Feng are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, edible oil, diesel oil and coke respectively during the report period.
Three ships namely C.V. Emirates Adam, C.V. CSAV Ningbo and M.V. Delta Ranger due to take berths at Container Terminal and Multipurpose Terminal respectively on Friday.
Two vessels viz C.V. CMA CGM Aegean and M.T. Sinar Agra with containers and chemicals are due to arrive on Friday, while four more ships namely C.V. MSC Germany, MT Pegasus, M.T. Gemini and M.V. Centurion with containers, edible oil and iron ore are due to arrive on Saturday.
