ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has approved members for the Board of Directors (BoDs) for Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA), GENCO Holding Company and Sukkur Electric Supply Company.
The CPPA members include Secretary Water and Power Imtiaz Qazi, Managing Director NTDC Rasool Khan Masood, Haji Bashir Ahmad, Member Privatization Commission Board Iftikharul Haq, CEO KAPCO Aftab Mahmood Butt, Director General Finance Khaqan Hassan Najeeb, CEO GENCO-1 Jamshooro Muhammad Akram Arian, CEO PESCO Muhammad Wali and Sohail Wajahat Saddiqi.
GENCO Holding Company was also constituted by wrapping up former BoDs of four power generation companies, said a press release issued here Wednesday. The GENCO Holding Company will now look into the affairs of the generation companies. The Ministry of Water and Power has also issued notification for setting up of BoDs.
