Seminar on Radio and TV management: Pakistan wins award for best presentation

Pakistani delegation at the International Seminar on Radio and TV management has won the third award for the best presentation. Pakistani delegation, headed by Assistant Director Information, Government of NWFP, Ansarullah Khilgi, included PTV Controller Engineering Naveedul Haq and Radio Pakistan Multan Programme Manager M. Asif Khan.
As many as 73 delegates representing 43 countries from around the world attended the seminar. At the closing ceremony held on June 27, Joseph from Zimbabwe, Elizabeth from Kenya and Ansarullah Khilgi from Pakistan were declared as first, second and third best presentations respectively, and were awarded with commendation certificates and prizes.
Ansarullah Khilgi in an interview with APP said it was a great honour not only for the Pakistani delegation but also for the whole country to earn the title of best presentation.
He said that members of the Pakistani delegation took active participation throughout the seminar lasted for 15 days to ensure best and a positive image of the country in China.
He also thanked the Chinese government and State Administration for Radio, Film and TV (SARFT) for organising such a wonderful and informative seminar that he said certainly benefit the participants from all over the world in a big way.
It was also worth mentioning that Pakistani delegation while making presentation also represented countries including Nepal, Eritrea, Yemen and Fiji. The Pakistani group leader Ansarullah made the presentation on "Media Co-operation's with China".
Besides holding lectures on media, they were also taken to China Radio International, China Central Television and other media installations where they were briefed about their working. The visit to Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan province was also part of their study tour.
