District jail's computer laboratory upgraded

The Sialkot district jail's special computer lab has been upgraded with advanced Information Technology (IT) in active collaboration with the Sialkot business community for giving the necessary IT computer training to all the eligible male and female prisoners, besides giving them the curriculum and religious education in this over loaded jail.
According to the official sources, the Sialkot district jail still remains overcrowded. As many as 2763 prisoners have been kept in Sialkot district against the total capacity of 600 prisoners, as a results of which the Sialkot jail had become overcrowded. They said that the well-equipped Operation Theatre has also been established.
