Mustafa suspends chief engineer of KWSB

City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal has suspended Chief Engineer (Electrical and Mechanical) Karachi Water and Sewerage Board, Gulzar Memon and ordered an inquiry against him. The City Nazim took action against the officer for providing wrong information to the higher authorities.
According to a CDGK release on Sunday, Gulzar Memon in a joint meeting of CDGK and KW&SB on Saturday had informed the City Nazim and DCO that generators were available at all the treatment plants and in case of power failure or emergency, the generators would start functioning at the treatment plants.
