VCoAS witnesses summer exercises

Vice Chief of Army Staff, General Ahsan Saleem Hyat on Thursday visited an exercise area and witnessed the troops of Lahore Garrison engaged in their Summer Collective Training. Corps Commander Lahore, Lieutenant General Shafaat Ullah Shah and General
Officer Commanding, Major General Shaukat Sultan were also present on the occasion. He witnessed troops executing various manoeuvres. Speaking to the officers and Jawans in the exercise area, General Ahsan Saleem Hyat said that optimum operational preparedness during peace-time should be top priority and urged them not to lower their guards as there could be no compromise on security.
