The Vice Chancellor University of Sindh Mazharul Haq Siddiqui has directed plantation section of the university to work on the beautification of Dr M.N.M Talpur Road and Sir Haji Abdullah Haroon Road. He directed the officials of the section during his visit to the university's date garden here on Monday.
The vice chancellor while visiting the date garden at the campus appreciated efforts of the plantation section for development with better care of the date garden at campus said that within proper time date garden has developed and progressed in well manner. The date garden of the university on 12 acres land was developed 2 years back and drip irrigation system was installed for proper irrigation of the garden.
The In charge Professor Plantation Dr Imdad Brohi informed the vice chancellor that total 700 date plants of different verities were planted at the date garden and among them 400 plants of dates have survived with fruit. The vice chancellor also visited Allama I.I.Kazi Road, which has been developed, by the plantation section through beautiful plants in both sides of the road.
He advised the plantation section to develop sides of Dr M.N. M Talpur road as well as Sir Haji Abdullah Haroon Road, the main road of the campus. The Registrar Muhammad Saleh Rajar, Dean Faculty of Arts Dr M. Qasim Bughio, Professor Raja Muhammad Ilyas, officials of the plantation section were accompanied with vice chancellor on the occasion.
