Supreme Court Bar Association President Muneer A Malik on Tuesday said the Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry will be the guest at a cup of tea at the invitation of the Supreme Court Bar and Pakistan Bar Council.
Addressing a press conference in Supreme Court, Muneer Malik and member Pakistan Bar Council Hamid Khan said date of the visit will be announced later but it is scheduled for next week. Muneer Malik said the Chief Justice will come to the Supreme Court building to have a cup of tea with lawyers as he has been very hospitable to the lawyers who visit his residence.
He said all the lawyers of the Supreme Court Bar Association will participate in the gathering. During the press conference, he condemned the attack on the relative of the Chief Justice in Quetta. He said the government is trying to harass those persons who are attached with the movement of lawyers.
