Workers detention: PML-N petition disposed of

The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday disposed of a petition filed by President PML-N Punjab, Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khosa on detention orders of political workers. The petitioner had challenged the detention orders of Shahid Chanda and others and contended that detention of PML-N workers is illegal, unconstitutional and without lawful authority.
The court also disposed of another petition filed by PML-N Lahore President Mian Marghoob Ahmed against the detention of political workers, as the law officer assured the court that all the arrested workers would be released.
