Pak-China strategic partnership vital for world peace: Prime Minister

Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz Sunday underscored the importance of Pakistan-China strategic partnership adding these relations are playing an important role in international peace and stability as well as a driving force for regional prosperity.
The Prime Minister said this while speaking at a banquet hosted in his honour by the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Luo Zhao Hui. Begum Rukhsana Aziz also accompanied the Prime Minister.
Shaukat Aziz recalling his highly successful recent visit to China said that traditional friendship between the two countries enjoys the full support of the Pakistani and Chinese peoples who are committed to further growth of their relations.
Appreciating the cultural performance by artiste's from Xinjiang province of China, who performed in the cultural show, which followed the dinner, the Prime Minister highlighted the close cultural bonds and similarities between the two countries.
The Prime Minister expressed the confidence that relations between the two countries will continue to strengthen and deepen in all fields in the years to come.
He also highly appreciated the growing co-operation between the private sectors of the two countries including the growing investments in Pakistan by the Chinese state and private sectors. Foreign Secretary Riaz Khan also attended the dinner.
