KPT plans to install road signs, safety devices

Karachi Port Trust (KPT) has planned the installation of road signs and safety devices on all its reconstructed roads and bridges within the port area.
The work has to be carried out in keeping with International traffic rules and codes of traffic engineering. The tenders for this important work will be sold till July 15, 2007 while the opening of the tenders will take place on July 16, 2007.
The above job is to be completed within sixty days from the date of the award of tender. The installation of the international standard road signs and safety devices in the KPT area will bring it on par on the traffic engineering side with other modern ports in the world and would also meet a long time public demand for such improvement.
