Jamadi-us-Sani moon not sighted

KARACHI: The crescent of Jamadi-us-Sani was not sighted on Monday, therefore, the first of Jamadi-us-Sani 1438 will fall on Wednesday (March 01, 2017).

This was announced by Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman after the meeting of the committee here at the Met Complex.

The meetings of provincial, district and zonal Ruet-e-Hilal committees were held at their respective headquarters. For technical assistance, Chief Meteorologist Abdul Rasheed and SUPARCO's representative Ghulam Mustafa also attended the meeting.
