ISLAMABAD: On the recommendations of Ministry of Finance, Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has approved extension in the date of exchange of Rs500 (old design) bank note by commercial banks for further period of one year up to September 30, 2012.
The Prime Minister approved the extension on the request of the general public and parliamentarians.
