KARACHI: Sindh police on Saturday claimed to have arrested a drug peddler and seized some 12kg heroin in the limit of Saachal police station.

According to police, the raid was conducted on a tip-off at Afghan Basti located in Madina colony that led to the arrest of drug peddler namely Syed Hassan son of Muhammad Hassan with 12kg heroin, which he was about to dispatch at various parts of the city for selling purpose. A case was registered under section 69C of Anti Narcotics Act. Further investigation was underway.
