ISLAMABAD: The five-member bench of Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday has adjourned the Panama Leaks case hearing till Monday due to heart ailment of Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed.
According to latest reports, the decision was taken due to the illness of Justice Azmat Saeed, who is part of the Supreme Court bench hearing the Panama Leaks case.
Head of the bench Justice Asif Saeed Khosa said that doctors have removed blockage in Justice Azmats vessels while he has also underwent successful angiography without any stenting.
He said that Justice Azmat is recovering but he will remain under observation of doctors for three or four days.
Justice Azmat Saeed was admitted to a Rawalpindi hospital on Tuesday due to a heart problem. The doctors at the hospital performed successful angioplasty on him and placed a stent in his heart. They have advised him to take 24-hour rest.
According to latest updates, Justice Azmat Saeeds condition has improved since yesterday.
The Supreme Court has adjourned the Panama Leaks case hearing till Monday, February 6.
