US says China, Taiwan, Mexico, UAE dumping products

WASHINGTON: The US Commerce Department on Friday set preliminary anti-dumping duty rates on products from China, Taiwan, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates it said were being sold in the United States at unfairly low prices.

Commerce said China and Taiwan were dumping certain optical brightening agents used in detergent, paper and cosmetics.

It made the same finding for galvanized steel wire from China and Mexico and for steel nails from the United Arab Emirates.
