LAHORE: A group of 20 Emergency Officers and Instructors on Sunday left for training in Izmir, Turkey.
Director General Punjab Emergency Services Dr Rizwan Naseer (SI) gave a final briefing prior to their departure. He asked them to seek maximum training of emergency & disaster management, healthcare system, training, monitoring and other related mechanisms.
He thanked Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif for continuous support and patronage.
The members of the delegation included Dr Fawwad Shahzad Mirza, deputy director, Human Resource, Mian Riffat Zia, Provincial Monitoring Officer, Dr Farhan Khalid, Registrar Academy, Dr Abdur Rehman, DEO Rawalpindi, Dr Abdul Sattar, DEO RY Khan, Dr Azam, DD Headquarters, Mian Ashfaq, DEO Attock, Naeem Murtaza, EO IT, Muhammad Ahsan, Head of Training, Dr Ali Imam Syed, Adjutant Academy, Dr Ahtesham Mazhar, Head of Medical Training, Shahnaz Akhter, PRO, Dr Rizwan Ahmad Ch, EO Operations Lahore, Zafar Iqbal Shaheen, DEO Okara, Muhammad Irfan Khan, Senior Instructor Training, Mehboob Alam, Lead Instructor Nursing, Sajid Ali, Nursing Instructor, Azeem Ashraf, Nursing Instructor, Ashraf Ali Anjum, Nursing Instructor and Saqib Ali, Instructor.
After seeking training, these officers & instructors will further impart training to the rest of the rescuers when they arrive in Pakistan.
Addressing the delegation, Dr Rizwan Naseer said that Rescue 1122 has been contributing towards healthcare system by providing emergency care to the helpless victims of emergencies in Punjab since its inception in 2004.
