RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Tuesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 46803.53 with a positive change of 113.80 and volume of 44,997,300 shares.

High and Low were 46853.52 and 46685.76 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 98,001,950 shares with 330 total traded companies out of which 166 were up, 147 were down and 17 were unchanged.

ENGINEERING was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 14,953,100 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 11,434,400 shares.

The three top traded companies were Dost Steels Ltd. with a volume of 9,690,500 and price per share of 10.81 (0.29), B.O.Punjab with a volume 6,888,000of price per share of 17.44 (0.22), Dewan Cement with a volume 5,902,500 of price per share of 36.50 (0.90).

The top three advancers were Sanofi-Aventis with price per share 2467.50 (117.50), Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 4750.00 (32.80) and Ismail Ind share of 373.06 (17.76).

The top three decliners were Sapphire Fiber with price per share of 970.01 (50.00), Jubile Life Ins with price per share of 545.01 (23.99) and Service Ind.Ltd per share of 1460.00 (22.25).
