RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed lower on Wednesday having 46993.31 points with a negative change of 216.75 and volume of 176,810,070 shares.

High and Low were 47325.91 and 46344.88 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 388,567,950 shares with 399 total traded companies out of which 108 were up 273 were down and 18 were unchanged.

COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 75,170,000 shares. It was followed by ENGINEERING with a total traded volume of 45,947,200 sshares.

The three top traded companies were Pak Refinery with a volume of 11,570,500 and price per share of 46.53 (1.85), Azgard Nine with a volume 10,513,500 of price per share of 8.84 (0.57), JS Bank Ltd with a volume 8,302,000 of price per share of 10.78 (0.45).

The top three advancers were Unilever Foods with price per share 5700.00 (100.00), Nestle Pakistan price per share of 8700.00 (90.00) and Siemens Pak. share of 1498.92 (62.16).

The top three decliners were Rafhan Maize with price per share of 8000.00 (197.50), Archroma PakXD with price per share of 777.04 (40.81) and Wyeth Pak Ltd share of 4731.17 (36.25).
