Aamir Khan's 'Dangal' won't release in Pakistan

imageThe news about Pakistani cinemas lifting the self-imposed ban on Bollywood movies have brought mixed reactions from the audience. While some Pakistanis feel that the decision is against the national interest, others were happy on the same decision. Cinema owners gave the green light to screen Indian films in the country also hinted the big release of Aamir Khan's Dangal.

Unfortunately for Aamir Khans fans, Dangal will not be released in Pakistan. This was confirmed by the spokesperson of the distributors of the film on Tuesday. The spokesperson claimed that the movie was not releasing in Pakistan and any news reports to the contrary are false, Indian media reported.

Some 100 employees lost their jobs and the cinema owners suffered around Rs. 150million loss during this period. The cinemas had deserted and the suspension of Bollywood flicks had a totally bad impact on the local industry as well. Now, Pakistani cinemas have resumed screening Indian movies which might revive cinema halls in Pakistan.

People around the world have been anxiously waiting for the release of Dangal mainly due to Aamir Khans presence in the movie. Aamir is the one, who has constantly been making money for his producers. In the last ten years, his movies have been huge hits; his films take a long time to shoot as he always believes in perfection.
