CHICAGO: CBOT December corn was nearly flat near midday on Monday, erasing early gains as fund buying waned, traders said.
Traders said funds bought an estimated net 4,000 contracts in early dealings but stopped buying after the initial two hours of trade. At 11:55 a.m. CDT (1655 GMT), CBOT Dec corn was up 1/2 cent at $6.49-3/4.
