BENGHAZI: Libya's transitional leader Mustafa Abdel Jalil said on Monday that a new interim government would be in place "within two weeks," in the wake of the killing of Moamer Qadhafi.

"Yes we have begun talks (on government formation), and this matter will not take a month but will be finished within two weeks," Abdel Jalil told a media conference in the eastern city of Benghazi.
